Pentecost is the day we celebrate how the Spirit of God speaks through many voices. At WBLUMC, we are planning a special service that will be called “A Celebration of Stories.” In the style of storyslam or NPR’s The Moth, we’re inviting people to tell a story in church. Everybody has a story to tell, and every story is sacred (whether it is about God or not). Do you have a story to tell? If you do, email Pastor Bill at
For summer Sundays through Sept. 8, we offer a blended worship service at 10am with choir, organ and sometimes a band. (Some elements of this service feel traditional, and some feel contemporary; ergo, blended.) We offer a nursery for infants and toddlers (0-3 years). Some summer Sundays we have special programming for children and youth, and in August we move outdoors. Please visit our children and youth pages for more information. In addition, our prayer room is available after worship if you would like someone to pray with you.
At 11am, we have a fellowship time, featuring gourmet fair-trade coffee and tea, plus cookies and doughnuts.
