Every Sunday, from 09/15/2019 to 10/20/2019, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
A 6-week book study based on Marcus Borg’s Convictions: How I Learned What Matters Most, paralleling our fall series on some of the basic convictions of the Christian faith:
God is real and a mystery, Jesus is the center of our faith, the Bible is true (and has political ramifications), and loving God means loving others. What if we really lived as if God is real and life is about loving God? Join us as we look at how our convictions shape us both as individuals and as a community of faith.
Sunday mornings led by retired Pastor Jim Roe. Meet in Room 200. Study groups also offered on Monday evenings, Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings.
Cost of the book is $13, available at church on Aug. 25, Sept. 1 and Sept. 8; sign up in the narthex. Contact Lori McBride, minister of missions & faith development, at for details.
