Welcome. We do not expect visitors to our church to give. Please be our guest and enjoy the online service.
Through your generosity this Easter, 50 percent of your donations will help fund the Bus Station and Backpack Ministry and other outreach efforts of the Rio Texas Conference-UMC and the Interfaith Welcome Coalition. At bus stations near the U.S.-Mexico border, volunteers distribute backpacks with needed supplies as well as words of comfort and support for tired and scared immigrants. Watch THIS VIDEO for more information. Click on the Online Giving button below for maximum benefit and no processing fees. Please give as generously as you are able, and thank you! Email Lori McBride with questions about the mission. (The remaining 50 percent of Easter donations will go to the WBLUMC capital fund.)
You don't have to give via an online method. You can just mail a check to the church. Our address is WBLUMC, 1851 Birch Street, White Bear Lake, MN, 55110. Our mailbox is locked, so you don't have to worry about your check being stolen.
Donations, whether through our annual stewardship campaign or one-time gifts, provide us with the resources needed to do our work: to lead and disciple the congregation, helping people to grow in loving God and nourishing the hungers of life; to give people of all ages opportunities to express their faith and offer their God-gifted talents back to God; to reach out to a world hungry for the hope and love of Christ; to create a pathway to nurture faith and grow toward maturity in Christ, from birth to adulthood; to provide the congregation and staff with the support they need to carry out our mission; and to provide space and amenities for our existing ministries and the growing needs of our congregation and community.
We strive to live up to John Wesley’s words, “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
In community, we experience encouragement and receive guidance for the journey of life. In worship, we lift our voices and know we are a part of something larger than ourselves. Side by side, in outreach and mission, we can do far more together than we can alone.
