This Christmas season, we invite you to participate in our tradition of purchasing gifts for children of families who live in one of Solid Ground’s metro housing sites. Solid Ground provides safe, affordable housing; supportive programming; and services to help families transition from homelessness to a higher level of self-sufficiency and a brighter future. Our church has been a mission partner of Solid Ground for more than a decade.
Beginning Sunday, Nov. 10, look in the narthex for a Christmas tree decorated with ornaments that each contain a wish-list item for a child or adult living at Solid Ground. To participate, just select an ornament, buy the item listed, and bring that gift back to a receptacle in the narthex by Dec. 8. Please attach the ornament to your unwrapped gift so that we can identify the recipient. Thank you!
