During the School Year

We know that a typical teen's schedule changes throughout the year. Join us for the whole program year or for the season it works for you. Each time a student chooses to participate, it is a gift for the adults and youth who have also made that choice. We're here to help if you'd like suggestions on how to find a group that fits your schedule and help make it a priority for your family.

When you register, you'll receive information about special events. Our groups emphasize connection and community. We strive to create a space where youth can explore their faith by digging deeper and asking questions. We also know that the best way this group grows is by having FUN. First time? Contact   and she'll let you know where your group meets.

Sunday Morning

Our middle school and high school group meets at the same time as the younger students, during the 9am service, in the downstairs youth room. Our lead teacher, Karen, leads this group with topics that explore both faith formation and journey-to-adulthood topics. Students are free to be themselves, have a snack, join in group discussion and games, and help decide where the hour goes.

Wednesday Night

Join us for large group games, guided connection points, scripture, and small groups. Students in grades 6-12 start out in the downstairs theater room. Each month, we explore a new theme that is relevant with our teens. In small group, we explore the themes further, do check-ins, and look up scripture connection. Previous themes include: "No Problem" or forgiveness, "Real" or choosing friends, and "Flip Side" or justice.

Friends are always welcome. Watch for our special Community Nights with pizza, 9 square, and projects.

Jubilation Bells

Peteria, our handbell choir director, conducts a beginning bell group any teen or adult who is interested in learning how to ring. You do not need experience; Peteria is a great teacher. We ask that you commit to regular attendance. This group meets 4:30-5:15pm on Wednesday afternoons. Contact Peteria, our handbell director, to let her know you're interested.

During the Summer

For middle-school and high-school students, we offer outdoor ministry at Good Earth Village in Spring Valley, MN. Depending on the age group, students stay in cabins, platform tents, and hammocks and/or tents. The week-long stay in the bluff region of Minnesota includes cookouts, canoe trips, nature walks, and games.

For our high-school level students, we offer Summer Festival Camp hosted on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus. Students stay in dorms, eat in the college cafeteria, rock to the Summer Festival Band, listen to guest speakers, and engage in indoor and outdoor activities over four days. Students from our church join several other churches and denominations from around Minnesota and Wisconsin. On the way home, we make a stop at Minnesota's Largest Candy Store in Jordan.

Stay Updated

We communicate with our youth families and students via Remind texts. Ask Joan how to join.
