All Saints Sunday Worship: 9am Traditions

All Church Event

This first Sunday of November we’ll remember those in our WBLUMC family who have passed away since last November. During our worship services, we’ll see the names and photos of these loved ones and light a candle in their memory.

It is the vision of White Bear Lake United Methodist Church to offer nourishment for the hungers of life. We offer two unique, Spirit-filled worship services on Sundays, and welcome everyone to praise God and to share in the bread of life with us.

9am Traditions
This service includes a traditional Methodist liturgy, beloved hymns accompanied by choir and organ, scripture and a message focused on living faithfully in today’s world. The sacrament of communion is celebrated twice each month. It is called “Traditions,” because it melds our local traditions with elements of Wesleyan worship and the wider Christian tradition.

Children and youth (3 years old by Sept. 1 through 12th grade) begin in the worship service and will be released for education after the children’s message. We offer a nursery for children ages 0-3 years during this service. If you would like someone to pray with you, our prayer room is open after this service as well as the later service.

Join us for fellowship time between services (10-10:45am) each Sunday, with doughnuts or other treats, Fair Trade coffee and tea, and lemonade.

Is 9am worship too early? Try 10:45am New Crossings.
This service explores worship in new and creative ways. It begins with a time of music led by a band, and moves into prayer, scripture, and a sermon focused on living faithfully in today’s world. It incorporates sacred and secular music and offers communion once a month.

Children (4 years old by Sept 1 through 4th grade) begin in the worship service and will be released for education about 10 minutes into the service. Nursery will also be available.
