WBLUMC and Common Hope have been mission partners for many years, providing the means to help students in Guatemala earn their high school diplomas, and to help their families live in safe housing and get basic healthcare services. At present, families from WBLUMC sponsor 20 children affiliated with Common Hope. Our thanks to the congregation for such wonderful support! There are however, many more students who need financial assistance so they can continue to attend school regularly. To help you connect with a student, a Common Hope representative will host a Sponsorpalooza on Sunday, Oct. 2, between services in Fellowship Hall.
