Fat Sunday Worship

Music Ministry Worship Service

Special music this week at both in-person services! In the spirit of New Orleans, a Dixieland band will lead us in celebrating the end of ordinary time, and the beginning of Lent. We hope you'll join us for this special worship event!

9am Traditions
This service includes a traditional Methodist liturgy, beloved hymns accompanied by choir and organ, scripture and a message focused on living faithfully in today’s world. The sacrament of communion is celebrated twice each month. It is called “Traditions,” because it melds our local traditions with elements of Wesleyan worship and the wider Christian tradition.

Children and youth (3 years old through 12th grade) begin in the worship service and will be released for education after the children’s message. We offer a nursery for infants to 3-year-olds during this service. If you would like someone to pray with you, our prayer room is open after this service as well as the later service.

If 9am worship is too early, try 10:45am New Crossings.
This service begins with a time of music led by a band, and moves into prayer, scripture, and a sermon focused on living faithfully in today’s world. It incorporates sacred and secular music and offers communion once a month. Nursery will be available.

Stay tuned for information about fellowship time between services and about Sunday school during the second service.
